Why oil cleansing can clear your skin.

Why oil cleansing can clear your skin.

#letsbefrank, not all oils are created equal. Some oil is bad for your skin: greasy pizza, for example. Other oils are great for your skin, like the ones in my Gentle Cleansing Oil. Here's why oil cleansing can actually clear your skin.

Oily skin? Perfect

Oil cleansers don't make skin more oily. Glad we got that out of the way. A cleansing oil can be used by every babe and every skin type, whether yours runs oily or dry as a martini.

Good oils remove bad oils

Cleansing oils are a little clingy, in a good way. They're attracted to the oils on your face: oils from makeup, excess sebum, food, products, and sweat. The oil attaches to excess oil and washes it all down the drain. Bye: makeup, dirt, and bad decisions.

It's the ultimate multi-tasker

A cleansing oil dissolves makeup and sunscreen, removes dirt and excess oil from pores, and moisturises your skin all at once. It removes what you don't want to keep on your skin and replenishes what it needs more of: hydration.

It won't strip your skin

Oil-free cleansers can strip skin of its natural oils and leave it unbalanced, causing it to produce more oil on its own. The result: breakouts. Cleansing oils don't strip your skin, so it won't feel tight or thirsty after. Think of it as a tall drink of water for your face.

It's gentle enough for sensitive skin

Cleansing oils are gentle for sensitive skin, redness, rosacea, and blemish-prone skin, with minimal irritation. Gentle but powerful, they help improve skin texture, fight signs of ageing, and leave skin soft and hydrated.

It plays well with others

My Gentle Cleansing Oil is designed to work in tandem with other cleansers for a double cleanse. Follow it up with my Enzyme Face Cleanser to get the most out of your routine.
