Noticed uneven skin tone, texture, or little bumps on your skin? The moon isn't in retrograde. You're probably in need of some AHAs. These gentle acids help to smooth out the skin by clearing away the dead layer of skin cells, while hydrating and firming at the same time.
My Resurfacing AHA Toner is a powerful essence packed with AHAs like glycolic and lactic acids, plus niacinamide for future-proofing skin and liquorice root to fight hyperpigmentation and dark spots. Questions are only natural.
How often should I use an AHA toner?
I'm gentle, but I'm still an active product. If you're new to AHAs, introduce this toner slowly. Start with 1 to 2 times a week at night. Once your skin feels comfortable, gradually increase use as your skin builds tolerance. For best results, work up to 2 to 3 times a week on alternating days.
Should you use AHA in the morning or at night?
Your call, babe. It works in both your daytime and night-time routine. For your daytime routine, use after cleansing and follow with my Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum. Always apply SPF after. For your night-time routine, use after cleansing and follow with a nourishing night cream like my Super Ceramide Night Cream to replenish the skin.
Can you leave AHA on overnight?
Absolutely. Just make sure you follow the toner with hydration, like my Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum and my Super Ceramide Night Cream to lock it in. In the morning, always wear SPF.
Can I use AHA and niacinamide together?
Already three steps ahead of you. Niacinamide is included in the formula for a double hit of barrier-boosting goodness. If you'd like to layer with more niacinamide after applying the toner, be my guest.
Do you use moisturiser or toner first?
Timing is everything. After cleansing, saturate a cotton pad and swipe the toner over your face, neck, and décolletage, avoiding the eyes and delicate areas. Follow with a hydrating serum like my Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum, then seal with my Super Ceramide Night Cream. If you're heading out, apply SPF last. Always do a patch test first.
